Carrole Ann was born in Yorkshire and raised in the North East of England with her four brothers and three sisters .Her father was a good old Yorkshire man and her mother hailed from the Fair city of Dublin, Ireland. She did a stint in the Territorial Army (the Reserves) and can handle a weapon or two. She came to Canada in 1981 first settling in Hanover, Ontario. In addition to raising a family, Carrole Ann found time to work full time and went on to study at Georgian College for her Real Estate license. She enjoyed success assisting buyers and sellers with the purchase and sale of rural farm properties and homes. Her travels then took her to Burlington, Ontario where she put her Real Estate background to good use, working in the Moving industry chiefly as Claims Manager, ensuring the clients’ moving experience was a positive one.
The nineties found Carrole Ann once again on the move, this time to the Brampton and Georgetown area where she and her husband became owners of three Subway franchises, one in Brampton, one in Georgetown and one in the town of Erin. Carrole Ann saw to the daily operations of all three stores. After selling her interests in the businesses, she spent some time as a business development manager for the franchisor before returning to a career in Real Estate. In the Fall of 2016 Carrole Ann and her husband Steve relocated to Ridgeway where she is enjoying the lifestyle that only the Niagara Region can offer. She enjoys spending time with their five grown children and numerous grandchildren. Carrole Ann’s interests include boating, she holds a Toronto Port Authority Powered Vessel Operator’s Permit, horseback riding and travelling. Her favorite destinations include the Caribbean, Florida and, of course, England.
